In less than two weeks, I’ll be on my way to the AWP Conference and Book Fair in Seattle, Washington. I don’t need a calendar to tell me the event is getting close because I can’t stop dreaming about it. Isn’t it funny how that works? They are not necessarily dreams about the conference itself, but more about getting to the airport on time, getting on the right plane, and finding a ride to the hotel, etc. Of course, dreams are weird, and although I don’t remember every single detail, I can tell you I’ve been in some pretty interesting scenarios.
