I’ve spent the better part of a decade immersed in the thrilling world of mystery, suspense, and exhilarating plot twists, crafting stories designed to grip readers by the throat and refuse to let go. As of today, I can proudly lay claim to 12 published novels, with another on the way, each one a stepping stone in my journey as an author.

I’ve decided to venture into new territory: the world of YouTube. My channel, aptly named “The Writer’s Block,” (@writtenbybc) will be a sanctuary for aspiring authors, where I’ll share the hard-earned lessons, the tips and tricks that have fueled my journey over these past six thrilling years.

Why YouTube and Why Now?

These are valid questions. In this ever-evolving digital age, I’ve come to realize that the art of storytelling is not confined to the written word alone. I want to connect with my readers and fellow authors in a way that’s more direct and personal. YouTube presents the perfect medium to do this. And if my experiences can help other aspiring authors find their own voice, then my mission will have been a success.

Sharing the Art and Science of Suspenseful Thrillers

Creating suspenseful thrillers is an art and a science, from crafting intricate plots to developing complex characters and executing nail-biting cliffhangers. I’ve walked this path and stumbled, learned, and persevered. Now, I want to share these lessons with you. Through my YouTube channel, I’ll peel back the curtain on the writing process, sharing my insights on everything from plotting and pacing to character development and crafting suspense.

Writing is a journey, and it’s one that is often fraught with challenges and self-doubt. But believe me when I say the reward, that moment when you hold your book in your hands, or when a reader tells you how much they loved your story, is worth every hardship.
